I don't love it as much as I thought I would. It's very easy to open, I love that. And the app loads fast and is generally excellent.

But from inside, you can't tell if it's locked or unlocked. The red/green switch flips to green when you physically open the door, otherwise it stays where you left it. So if someone locks or unlocks the door using the panel, app, or assistant, the red/green indicator is wrong. It's a security issue, you could think the door's locked when it's not.

Also, unlike other electronic door locks that just make a quiet click sound when they lock or unlock, the C33 makes a ~1 second whirring sound which makes me not want to use it so much because I don't want to burn out the 8 batteries.

I’ve installed other smart locks before and this one is pretty straight forward. At first I couldn’t find the instructions, but there are step by step videos online. Regular use is very good and reliable.

Battery cover is ALWAYS pooping off. Fingerprint is intermittent but there is always a code you can use.

This lock is great. The installation instructions that come with the lock weren’t very good, however the visual instructions on the internet were super clear which made the installation of quick and easy.

This lock is very good. To install and set up the lock via the app "eufy security" is simple. Make sure your home has wifi internet to benefit on this lock.

Had a tiny bit of difficulty installing it on my old door. I measured thickness but forgot about height! That's ok, that's why you always need a chisel when installing a new door lock. Looks beautiful, works nicely and was relatively easy to set up with wifi and Alexa. Lit keypad is beautiful and satisfying to press the buttons. Will buy another for the front door!
